Lost G75VW Recovery

Hi like many I have lost access to my recovery partition on my G75VW after updating to Win 8.1. It appears to still be there and healthy but I have exhausted most of the online threads and still cannot access it. Also cannot get Backtracker to work. Wondering if anyone out there has a usable factory image that they could send me to dmose81980@gmail.com. I would appreciate immensely. Alternatively if anyone has any ideas as to how to access partition, would love to hear that also. Thanks very much

This is long thread but I think they finally did restore the recovery partition. However it is pretty much usless as you would need to reinstall 8 the upgrade to 8.1 all over again. Much easier to just Clean install get your ISO Here Download all your hardware drivers here Asus Support Downloads

Yes you will need to create your own. Macrium if a good free program for this. Here is more information on creating a custom recovery image Here is another source on creating custom Recovery partitions You too can goggle and find other discussions on creating custom recovery partitions in the end its just as easy to use Macrium Reflect Free to create and update a Disk image or even a C:\ Partition to restore anytime you need too.
