Linux Mint and right touchpad issue

First of all, Crunchbang is my distro of choice. However, neither the wireless or ethernet were supported. Deal breaker obviously.

I've got Mint 15 installed now. Everything is, for the most part, working correctly. I do have a couple of issues/questions though.

1) I can not get the right click on the touch pad to work. I've searched, but haven't found a solution.

2) Is everyone using the Nvidia or nouveau drivers?

3) I mostly have the laptop plugged in. There have been a couple of times where I unplugged the laptop to move it and the computer instantly went into a sleep mode where the only solution was to reset. Has anyone else seen this?

I'd like to get Mint, or at least Ub installed on mine but have not spent the time yet. No advice, but I'd love to hear how it turns out for you! =D

Using Mint 15 live session, I can confirm. However, tapping with 2 fingers registers as rightclick. Do a google search for "elantech ubuntu right click" to see some threads that may help.
