heya, ive been looking around for a good looking shoulder carry bag for my g55vw

i have found the asus grander at http://www.asus.com/Computer_Bags/ASUS_GRANDER_CARRY_BAG/#overview
http://www.iibuy.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=270_418_1143&products_id=52424

but according to the numbers, the laptop is a bit bigger than the internal size of the case.

the other 2 i have seen, but once again, the internal size (on paper) seems to be smaller than the laptop

has anyone got any of these laptop bags and a g55vw? if so, how does it fit, if not, what laptop bag do you have/use

also i should point out, i dont like nor want a backpack style bag, i am looking for a messenger style bag.

cheers

I use a Foray made briefcase (it has a detachable shoulder strap) that is designed for 17" laptops. The G55vw fits snugly top-to-bottom, and there is just enough clearance on the sides to put the monster of an AC adapter (I have to put the power cord into another compartment).

All-in-all, I'd say that I like this case, and I'll be looking for another like it (although this particular style has been discontinued, and to my great discontent) in a few years when I end up replacing this laptop.

The link below is to a Targus bag I used to use, and the laptop fit nicely.
