Lag Issues

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet. I have an ASUS g73jh laptop. I have 2 games installed on it Call of Duty Black Ops and World of Warcraft. I mainly play wow. This is my problem no matter if I play on ultra setting or the lowest it can be I always experience lags. They usually come when I am in combat and last for 5sec and after that about every 10 to 20 sec later it lags again. I just updated my bios to 213 and my VGA and it still does it. I don't know what to do now to fix the problem. If anyone could help that would be great.

What vbIOS version is installed, and what driver version are you using? (You can use GPU-Z for this info)

I updated to bios 213 and as for the driver i am not sure if this is the one WDC WD6400BEVT-80A0RT0 that was under disk drivers. I am not a computer savey person so my knowladge on how to retrive this information is limited.

When you play WoW, do you play over your wireless connection to the internet? Have you tried plugging in a wired ethernet connection to see if the lag goes away?

Yes I play via wireless and i haven't tried to connect it with Ethernet yet.
