Keyboard troubleshooting

Hey guys, I have a G75 laptop and am experiencing an odd phenomenon regarding the keyboard. It works fine perfectly most of the time, but then out of nowhere the keys will stop responding. No buttons will work, but the media buttons work such as using FN to adjust brightness or lowering/increasing volume. I know this isn't a numlock issue or the keyboard being faulty since the media buttons are still usable with FN. So is there some weird toggle that disables the laptop keyboard? I even tried plugging in a wireless usb keyboard and it didn't work. My only solution so far is to restart the laptop.

I've checked device managers, looked for updates or to see if there are any errors regarding the keyboard but everything seems fine.

What applications are you using when this problem occurs?
If under the windows safe mode,have the same sypmotm? maybe you can check and test it...

The last resort that you should do for sure if nothing else works is try to re-install your Windows, and if that doesn't help, I suggest you consult your warranty card 😞 It seems quite strange that with an external wireless keyboard you get the same issue!

The only problem with starting it in safe mode is I can't really reproduce the problem, it's really random but only occured a select few times. I'll see about reinstalling windows 7 though
