I hev a Asus rog scar QM533. Recently I had this issue where my z key was stuck and repeating in every text area. So I had to uninstall the driver of keyboard. After searching in the Internet, I figured out it might be problem with my system, so I reset it. After doing that z key stopped working. It's okay. But, after installing the necessary software and updating the system still the hot keys are not working. Anyone know how to fix this?

  1. Reinstall Keyboard Driver:

    • Go to Device Manager > Keyboards > Right-click your keyboard > Uninstall device.
    • Restart your computer to reinstall the driver automatically.
  2. Install ASUS ATK Package:

    • Download and install the latest ASUS ATK Package from the ASUS support website.
  3. Update Drivers:

    • Make sure all your system drivers are up to date from the ASUS support site.
  4. Check BIOS Settings:

    • Restart and enter BIOS (usually F2 or Delete during startup).
    • Ensure hotkeys are enabled in the BIOS settings.
  5. Run Windows Updates:

    • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and make sure everything is updated.
  6. Check Armoury Crate:

    • Ensure you have the latest version of ASUS Armoury Crate installed.

You can also test your keyboard on keyboardkeytest.com to make sure all keys are working.
