Hi guys, I just got an Asus G53S, and initially it was excellent, no complaints! But on the fourth day the lights on the keyboard went out. Well after do some searching around here, I eventually got them back into a working condition. Well now, about a week later, I have almost the exact opposite problems! While the key board lights still work, they won't go off, and brightness buttons (Fn+F3/F4) are reversed, as in F3 will make it brighter and F4 dimmer. I have tried the button in the upper left hand side, but it only turns off the upper most row of four keys (power, etc...). When fixing the problem with the lights not coming on I checked and reconnected the ribbon wire connecting the key board to rest of the computer, uninstalled and re-installed the most up to date ATK package, and ran Hcontrol all to no avail. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
