Key to show bootable dvd drive

i tried to press f8 during boot up but that wont work so how do i open it?, also my dvd drive wont show in bios boot menu is that normal? does it only show when a dvd is in the drive?

F8?? ughh, that's for advanced startup options not for boot options

you need to hold the ESC key while your computer is off then turn it on while keeping to hold it, then you will get the boot options to choose whatever you need

ty also how can i open the bios without going into windows and doing it that way? oh and i saw in ur signature that u have the exact name of ur screen how do i find out what my display is called?

Open BIOS without going into Windows???? since when can you access the BIOS from Windows? you can't do that!

You need to press and HOLD ESC then power on your laptop, then when you get the boot options, choose ENTER SETUP to access the BIOS.

Do not change any settings if you don't know what you're doing!

To find your screen model

Use HWiNFO64 then click on the monitor tab to see what model is your screen exactly, then google that model to get the full specs and see if it's IPS or not. Here's mine which is IPS:
