Is this defective G551jm matrix ?

Hello,
I recently bought your Asus G551jm. At first everything on arrival it turned out fine until you have come to the house. I noticed that the icons, the letters are a little fuzzy and terribly bad run on the eyes, and when I watch the video, pictures, or play can be seen as if the noise. Is it a faulty die? or fault lies elsewhere?

I also had a lot of problems with switching the graphics card but it turned out to work, at least for monitoring. FPS okay I like. Podsumowójąc really is something wrong with the screen!

Do I have to consult your service? or else to go and fight in the store where I bought the computer that advertising sold me a defective sensor?

Please help

Hi Paul

I think this is the fault with win 8/ 8.1 rather than Asus. Please follow the steps provided in the links below

or

Hopefully this will fix your issue.

These solutions are only working in half way.. not satisfied

You need to run at native resolution for a sharp clear image. I believe that is either 1366x768 or 1920x1080 for your laptop. This is the way for *ALL* LCD screens.

Yes, that is the point I'm making. The external monitor is 1920x1080, correct? That is native.

1280x720 will be bad because it is non-native.

You must run in 1920x1080 for a clear picture.

u don't unerstand me.. i'm using my laptop in 1920x1980...and IT DIDNT WORK. My picture on lcd is blur..my eayes screaming for help after using him 5min.
Then WHEN I SWITCH MY EXTERNAL MONITOR to laptop i have: Better screen on my external monitor and my laptop. Why ?

try updating ur gpu drivers or try updating the display driver by right clicking it in windows device manager .
If it still persists try reinstalling windows if that can help it might be a hardware issue with the screen .

Before trying the above stuff i want you to confirm that u are running ur laptop on the recommended 1920x1080 resolution . You can check it by right click on desktop and hit screen resolution and adjust the scroller there to the maximum resolution .

The pictures you posted were in 1280x720 so I thought that's what you were using. Your screenshots look clear to me so it's definitely a screen issue and not the source image.

Anyway, after you hook up the external monitor and it turns clear please verify the resolution, refresh, and color depth. Something might be different.

That's what I did to fix the problem:

- I installed the latest drivers for both graphics cards (4600HD and Nivida GeForce 860M)

- I reinstalled the drivers (both grids graphics chipset)

- I did a system recovery (Windows 8.1 64bit)

- I called the Asus website, but they did not say much to me, such as: "do recovery, re-install the drivers)

- I changed the contrast, brightness, etc .. but not in the Faraway

fault:

Some people can not see it, but, for example, my girlfriend says that the screen is too spicy for her ..
