It did at a certain level. Restarts however are longer than restarts under 8.1... I've been reading a lot in the last few days since upgrade. Looks like Win 10 has a looooonnnngggg way to go before it being stable or remotely stable. Heck. I even got a BSOD for the video kernel while I was presenting a plan to my boss Friday. That was very embarrassing especially if he knows I got a gaming laptop and it BSOD's. MS has to fix all the bugs before people get tired of coping with win10 screw ups.

Screen flickers when gaming in Windows 10. So it's not windows 10 ready or ready for any other windows version, or ready in the first place.

Ok just an update... after a few weeks of using Windows 10 and 4 (or 5 can't remember) cumulative updates performance seemed to stabilized. Below is a list of tweaks I did.

1. Updated all drivers from the ASUS site
2. Removed Chrome's prefetch feature
3. Defragged my HDD

What I did not do:

1. Disable Superfetch
2. Downthrottle the CPU
3. Do a clean install

Cause of the recent performance change, I have decided to stick with Win10.
