The Win7 version of the Atheros driver will always give you a BSOD! Try and disable the WiFi card from the BIOS (security tab and then I/O security something, and then on the wireless card switch it to "Lock") then if it boots into windows uninstall the driver then go back to BIOS and enable it again! See if that works. If it doesn't then I am afraid you will have to do a re-instalation of Win8. If it works do not install the Atheros driver again until it has been optimized for Win8. One more thing is that Win8 can work with your WiFi card without drivers, because it has them built in. I personally am not going to install them even when they get updated because that is just another piece of software on my machine that doesn't really help me. If Win8 can use WiFi without them then why do we need them? The only thing you will need is the Wireless console, so you can switch your WiFi from the Fn + F2 buttons, and that's it. I hope I was helpful.
P.S. Keep us posted to see the results 🙂
