Internet Lag

Hello, I recently purchased the Asus G75VW, Windows 8 64-Bit, and I've started to notice that I have internet lag while playing online games, and it makes it rather difficult to play. I have updated all the drivers for the Qualcomm AR9485WB-EG, done the Windows Updates and I still have the problem.

I don't think it's anything wrong with the network, considering that my other laptop has no internet lag/latency at all

could you restore your OS and install all drivers again.

I noticed that some of the options you can actually restore things to the original factory settings without losing the stuff you have on it, so I might try that

Tried to do that and it still gives me internet lag

Well to clear up if your having a software issue or hardware issue, why don't you try a Clean install Guide here

Your BIOS should be 210 or above
Install the ASUS ATK Package drivers
Install the latest Chipset drivers
Install the latest IRST Drivers
Install the latest Atheros Wlan Drivers
Install the latest Atheros Lan Drivers
Install your AV IS program
Let Windows update run
Test your internet connection before installing any other software, if your still lagging block your AV IS programs.
Test your internet connection again. If your still lagging you either have a Network problems or defective hard ware. Test your wireless on another network at a friends location or business?
Test your Internet connection using your LAN hard wired.
