Intel WiDi Issues on G46VW

I bought the G46VW laptop the other day, and also purchased the Netgear Push2TV adapter and hooked it up to my TV via HDMI cable. Best Buy's website it says that this model is WiDi capable. But the application for the WiDi was not installed. I went to ASUS' support site and download the driver for the Intel WiDi application. But when I attempt to run the install wizard I get a message that says,

"Install shield wizard aborted.

This platform is not compatible with Intel WiDi or the application is in use."

The only option it gives me is to close the install. Now in the zip folder that I downloaded from ASUS there is another file called "AsNoSupportWiDi" but it wont open.

Any ideas or help on how to get the WiDi to work?

fyi.
I don't have the BestBuy model, but below is a screenshot from my G46VW-BHI5N43 which had the Widi software already installed.

1. Have you made any upgrades to the wireless card? You will need to use the Intel approved wireless card for WiDi.

2. If you don't mind erasing everything and reinstalling the factory image, try this and make sure your device manager looks clean.

Bestbuy doesn't know anything about computers, just so you know. Their whole website makes it clear, so I wouldn't trust their claims. Did the literature with/stickers on the computer say anything one way or the other? That is what I would go off of.
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!

Although nobody is asking, posting this anyway in case somebody runs across it.
Noticed my G46VW device manager had an error when using the Intel WiDi software version 3.5.34.0 as in the first screenshot below that is fixed by updating the Intel WiDi software version to version 3.5.41.0 from the ASUS G46VW download site.
