Installing a SSD along with the 1 tb harddisk

I am planning to buy a 2.5" Samsung EVO 850 SSD .I have doubt that will it directly fit the 2nd hard-drive bay or do I require some kind of mounting kit/caddy ?
Are the normal hard disk also sized at 2.5" ?

I have a G751-VT without any SSD before(only 1 TB hdd)

It'll fit just fine, G751 has 2x 2.5" bays. I bought same SSD half a year ago, before I had also just 1TB HDD.

Yes normal HDDs for notebooks are also 2.5".

edit: Also, I believe 2nd bay might have Sata 2 port so to get full speeds put SSD into 1st bay which has Sata 3.

Also, if you're on win10, note that you can enable "Rapid Mode", ( after some tweaks ) although it is still not officially compatible with win 10 !
