for some reason this process is using all my cpu, can anyone explain why?. Its causing the fan to wind up and my intel boost to jump from 2ghz to 2.60 now all the time?>

I assume you have googled it, in which case you probably already know that it's safe to just kill it.

i suggest you use antivirus to scean laptop and delete it.
