I need some advise on G752VL to add in a Kingston HyerX 240GB m.2 2280 pcei ssd

I have a Rog G752VL-DH71, and i want to add in a Kingston HyerX 240GB m.2 2280 pcei ssd, which i also have. Is it possible and does anyone have any helps and or hints and other suggestions that might help me. 😮

I don't think anyone so far has attempted anything except Samsung SSD M.2, So please post your experience if you go ahead with the install??

I you look around there are plenty of install guides for the Samsung m2 ssd drives, this should be no different with the exception that this is not an NVMe drive. That Kingston is however a Gen 2 PCIE card where the G752 series has Gen 3 slots so it will only run at gen 2 speeds which is half that of the gen 3.

You can either clone the drive you have or follow the sticky for a clean install.
