I need Help About G751JT Thermal Pad Thickness

Hi,
I will disassembly my G751JT with g-sync in 2016 summer i sent my laptop to Asus Service for g-sync upgrade it's all ok and i repaste after upgrade like 10 months later from upgrade i cleaned and repasted but i did not see any thermal pad they just thermal paste VRams and ICs now i will disassembly after my final exams and i want to apply thermal pad does arctic thermal pad good for 970M and which thickness do i need 0.5mm/1mm/1.5mm or both or all of them i am afraid of if i apply thick pad then my gpu's paste won't work properly i found this picture70119 is this same for us and do i need 3mm thickness thermal pad for real ? do i have to apply everything ? and is this true about thickness

and 1mm parts is enough ? or do i have to apply/purchase 1.5mm thermal pad too and even 3mm ?
i purchased arctic 1mm and 1.5mm thermal pads

Paste performs better than pads if there is good contact. The only reason to use pads is if there is a gap.

This idiot put it on his CPU though. Do not do that.

Use proper paste for CPU.

Use K5 Pro Gummy for VRAMs and all other chips.

I just finished doing the thermal paste and pads replacement plus the fan mod.  The correct thickness is 1mm for VRAM and MOSFETS, 1.5mm for the VRM and I used Arctic MX-4 on the CPU and GPU.
