😉The Intel XTU program comes installed, not sure what Asus named it - ASUS XTU? You can turn up the sliders on the 4 cores and the CPU cache to 11, actually 36x,35x,34x,34x core 0-3, and the cpu cache 36x - those are the max settings for the 4700HQ, if you have a different CPU those numbers can be higher/lower, please move the slider up and let us know if the numbers are different - and let us know what model i7 you have.
The multipliers you increase are the real multipliers for the CPU. Intel holds back on those settings for normal installs - but for our ROG laptops with the best cooling it is ok to increase them to the max setting.
You then Apply the Setting changes, and Save to a Profile, and XTU sets the values at each boot - until you have a crash / non-clean shutdown - then it doesn't apply the settings again until you go into XTU and reselect/apply the Profile. XTU doesn't know if the crash came from XTU settings or something else, so it plays it safe and doesn't apply the selected Profile settings until you intercede and set them again yourself.
When you make those changes, come back and we can work on the Asus GPU Tweak tool for Graphics cards. Those settings are simple as well.
This isn't rocket science, and as far as Overclocking, it is much safeer than the sliders without borders in the motherboard kind.
