Aright so , until a week ago my asus g75vw was working just fine, then i installed saints row 4 and it was working good, until 2 hours into the game it crashed fully, it just shut off in an instance. I tried turning it on and it shut down emediately after turn on. then again and it worked. What's happening? I read there is a thing in some computers at will make them shut-down if they overheat but mine didn't overheat at all. Thanks for helping.

it might have shut down because of too high Overclocking on the CPU or the GPU.

Overheating or maybe the battery died and you didn't notice since the game was full screen. Sometimes even if the PC is plugged in, the power strip could turn off or something.
Also is this a legit game or a torrent?

Kerly thanks for the reply and it really explained somethings to me ,but at the time my batter was plugged in and yes it is a legit game.

Were you OC'ing anything, because if the system gets too hot, it will power itself off instantly to prevent burning up the components. I would check in the Windows event logs, because it will usually say what type of issue it was.
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!
