I have the G751JY, But refresh rate option is only 60 Hertz... Why?

As the title states.

I'm sry if its a noob question.

I purchased it from a store (dubai) directly... didnt have the option to customize or anything.

The Exact model no. is G751JY - DH71. I have a 1080p Display.

And i ask this question coz i have seen a lot of threads stating "G751JY" and "75/100 Hertz refresh rate".

If I'm correct the Refresh rate options depend entirely on the Graphics card right?

Am i missing something?

Only G-Sync version of this laptop has set refresh rate to 75Hz by default. I think your model does not support G-Sync. If you want to have it, you should return the notebook back to the seller and ask, if they offer newer version of the notebook for selling. (Asus G751JY-DB73X for example).

However, you can still make custom resolution with custom refresh rate in nvidia control panel.
