I got a severe lag problem

This seemed to happen after I used the Pareto PC repair program. It works ok or a few minutes and then every program, even the task manager and Youtube and Facebook say not responding all the time. I have to shut down the computer by force by removing the power plug and battery. I'm thinking I have to reinstall the factory settings, what do?

I have the ASUS G75VW, 16gb, it's 6 months old.

I've found that it works ok in safe mode, but not in normal mode.

Yeah reinstalling your OS would be the option to do.

Don't install those PC Repair programs, ever, most of the time it's a trojan, or worm or some other nasty piece of work designed to make your life a living hell. Your best bet, would be a clean wipe and fresh install.

Usually system repair programs do more harm than good.

If your running Windows 8 do the following:
Go to the lower right corner and click on settings - then click change Pc settings.
Click on General - Scroll down to - Refresh your PC without affecting your files

If your running Windows 7 do the following:
Go to Accessories - System Tools - click on System Restore - chose a restore point before you installed Pareto PC.

The best program to optimize Windows is CCleaners.
