How to reattach battery to G751?

I disassembled my G751JY today to repaste it.Anyhow after all was set and done i reassembled it but it doesn't work if not plugged in.Can anyone with experience tell me where should I look to reattach the battery and should I completely disassemble it or is it somethin in the back where the battery itself sits that might be causing it.In short where does the battery actually attach to the computer?

Oh god I knew it.That's unlucky :/.Thanks man Do you think I would be able to reattach it without detaching the cables connected to the keyboard (cuz the small one that goes to the power button is such a bitch to connect

You should be able to just pop the keyboard up and pull it toward the front enough to get to that connection without disconnecting the ribbons.

While on the topic I had a problem.When I disassembled everything and got to the heatsink and there were 3 pairs of 2 screws attached to little metal plate thingys.Problem is one of the screws was messed up so the screwdriver was sliding in it and I could not unscrew it.Do you guys think if I give it to a repair center they will be able to unscrew it somehow and change the paste or am I "screwed"?

Maybe they will able to unscrew it, but I think you void warranty..

If the repair shop is even qualified to be called a repair shop they will be able to extract the screws. I have an entire kit in my rolling case for hardware extraction. The only thing the presents a challenge is grade 8 and high carbon stainless. None of which you will find in this laptop.
