How often does ASUS release a new set of G750 series laptops?

I'm just curious, because I'm still holding out for a Maxwell version of the 870M, and possibly Broadwell. So, I'd just like to know how often Asus releases new laptops in the G750 series.

Asus releases new laptops frequently, it is hard to tell based on previous history because Asus releases based on new hardware available.

If you have a particular video card, CPU, or chipset in mind, it is better to track the release schedule for the parts needed to build the G750 you want 🙂

Last year the G750 release was in June/July, this year it was March/April, next year it might be earlier or later, based on parts availability.

I have found it is better to get something and use it now rather than wait for a day that might never come in the future.

My JH was supposed to arrive in August last year, but I got the JW when it was released instead of waiting.

When August 8th came and went, I upgraded to a JX and enjoyed that for a a good run.

Then the JH finally arrived in late November, I have enjoyed that since, and I got 6 months of G750JW/JX use before the JH finally arrived instead of being without a G750 for 6 months.

Why wait? Enjoy the best performance Asus laptop you can get today 🙂

So you spent like 5000€ in 1 year on 3 laptops?
JW is like 1200€, JX like 1800 and JH around 2100 lol

If people can afford all that then there is no issue indeed xD

sevymar, I didn't keep them, I moved on to the next one, so the total spent was just the total spent on the last laptop.

You are making a simple situation needlessly complex. It really wasn't difficult to accomplish, and there was no issue indeed.

Don't sell yourself short, you could do it too. 🙂

You will have to wait a long time before Maxwell cards get released.. not before Q1 2015 !
go for the monster G750JS and enjoy the power of the final form of Kepler 🙂
