How much time takes to do the dvd recovery discs?

Hi

I just bought the g73jw-xa1, and I'm doing the recovery disk set, but the AI Recovery Burner has 4 hours 20 min and is still in progress. It says is "making an Image ISO" and the progress bar shows like 40%.

I just updated the SO and drivers and installed firefox and chrome before starting the AI recovery program. Why this program take so long? or it have some kind of problem?

Yesterday I made a recovery set for a new toshiba and the whole process finished in about 30 min.

Well 20 min later the program has started to burn the first dvd.

The AI Recovery program is not the greatest in the world. Many, including myself, have see the program fail burning the last disc often. So you go through the whole process, burn the discs, and they're no good with a fail last disc. Retrying causes teh same mistake over & over. I had to let the app make the iso images, move them to a new location, then cancel out of the program. (If you cancel first, it will delete the images) Then I use a separate image burning software to make the disks.

Now I do not even bother, and use Acronis True Image Home 2011, and backup to an external USB HDD. Much easier.

Thanks Chastity, the program has finished successfully and has made the 4 disks, now I'm gonna be sleepy all day.

For the record, the program took almost 5 hours to do the iso images, the disk burning process was faster, but I went to sleep and then wake up in order to change the dvds every 1 or 2 hour. The whole process finished in 7:30 hours, including my sleep time
