How do I update the Bios with newest file without damaging the pc?

I do have the latest file saved as a zip file. Using Win 10 64-bits. Is there a software I need to do so after updating all new files for Win 10.

Hey Steinar welcome to the forum!

See the link below on how to update your BIOS using EZFlash:
http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?11080-BrodyBoy-simple-but-effective-.pdf-guide.-on-quot-Upd...

Not the same model but practically the same steps.

1. Visit ASUS support website and search for your model.
2. Download BIOS and save to USB disk
3. Press F2 into BIOS
4. Select ezflash
5. Select your BIOS file location

Cheers

Thanks a lot. Thought it was more difficult.

Steinar

Its only more difficult if for some reason the BIOS update fails. You are taking your chances every time you do update your BIOS. and you shouldn't unless there is something in the newer BIOS that you actually need. Update the BIOS is not like updating drivers.
If your going ahead updating you BIOS I agree with Infernostorm using USB and Ezflash in your BIOS. Be 100% sure you USB chip is a good one formatted fat32 nothing else on it. Extract your Zip file directly to your USB drive do not copy it to the USB Drive. Let us know how it all goes most times is goes good.

Yeah exactly what Clint said, don't update BIOS unless you really need to as there's no point in risking it.
