How can I underclock G75VX CPU & GPU?

Yes, the title was correct. Underclock. I'm not needing the power and am trying to decrease temps and increase longevity of system.

I don't know anything about overclocking in the first place.
How much should I be modifying the voltage compared to clock speed on the GPU and CPU for the gtx 670mx?

Currently (EVGA Precision X): Mem clock, from 1400 down 200, to 1200.

After applying this setting my color went crazy with randomly colored squares and driver stopped responding, then recovered. When opening this application this continues happening. Is there concern?

My voltage was already at 925 mv. It appears to be max by default. Do I change this?

You can not adjust the voltage, it's locked. Both CPU and GPU underclock themselves when idle or when not on load.

Were those colors a bad sign or normal? What is a normal GPU temp? Do you mean they naturally underclock or when using EVGA? I still want to set some max points.

And I can't seem to mod fan speed. Ever since installing fans are louder for some reason.

Yes i hade the same problem when i installed Fan Speed my fans where normal but now your fans are working more harder. and temps get lower.

I had around 75-80 temps when i was gaming now i have around 65-70.

I couldn't find to undo this.

You do not need to do anything except to start EVGA precision and watch how all frequencies, voltage and temps vary depending on the load on the graphic card.

So once again you do not need to do anything.

Undervolting one of the most efficient cards on the market in this segment is almost pointless especially if the longevity is in question. Even if you OC your laptop it will be running fine until the time comes for a new laptop. Unless you expect it to run for 20 years when even undervolted will probably be killed by the mold. Just kidding ha, ha.

So launching EVGA would help underclock or are you saying launch if I want to monitor activity?

Same way as overclocking , when you open your overclocking program, just drag the slider to a negative number, so it decreases the max megahertz.
