How can I fix my touchpad?

It's very unresponsive. Often times I can't move my cursor. It takes multiple attempts before I can get it to move. Other times when I'm moving my cursor, I somehow end up changing the resolution of my web browser.

I do have a mouse, but sometimes I want to unplug and use my laptop away from my desk.

Any advice? Thanks.

HI, what is your NB model and is form Win 7 upgrade to Win 8? visit ASUS support website and download touchpad driver and install again.

G75VW-AS71. I've upgraded to win 8, but the problem was there even before I upgraded. I'm using the most current driver listed on the website. Problem is still there 😞

Honestly, probably an RMA is in order. software won't fix a mechanical problem.
