Hi Guys! Just got a new baby and need some help :)

Hey guys,

I just got my new 750 from Costco and its absolutely wonderful. Problem is I need a little help from you guys setting it up. And yes I have read the fforum but there is just too much contradictory advice. So can someone directly give me suggestions on what else i should do. Thanks so much!!!

What I have done so far...
Deleted Blotware that others have deemed unnecessary
Disabled unnecessary start-up programs
Deleted Asus Splendid

Also is it normal that when picking up the laptop with the battery facing towards the ground that the lid remains silghtly ajar? Am i being ocd or is it normal?

Jeez! you are impatient... you haven't even stated which version of G750 you have or what windows, etc... This negative post might make most people ignore you. Be nice to people that give you knowledge free of charge (being a member of the entitled generation is no bueno).

Aside from what you already did, have you performed the BIOS update (if any, since we don't know your version)? support.asus.com has most of the latest drivers you need.

in terms of the lid being slightly ajar, that is normal. This laptop does not have a locking mechanism. The hinges do a decent job at keeping the lid from just opening.

sorry guys, i didn't mean to come off as rude or as impatient. I think my eagerness and excitement got to me. I got the costco version which is a JS. And thanks Maxter i will update the BIOS.
