Help Pls: Is it correct G Sync is only available with the G751 *JT*, and not *JL*?

When I look at ASUS web site, I've noticed that the advertisement for G Sync is only seen with G751 JT model (970M GPU) and not the JL model (965M GPU). Am I correct in thinking that this means G Sync is not available/possible for the JL model? And if so, is there an explanation why it is so?

JT model: http://www.asus.com/us/Notebooks/ASUS_ROG_G751JT/

JL model: http://www.asus.com/us/Notebooks/ASUS_ROG_G751JL/

Thanks in advance.

These are both showing G-Sync at the US Asus Store?

Edit: Sorry just noticed you were referring to G751, I have no idea, some of the later versions have G-Sync some don't check with your vendor to insure that you get one that does. Or be able to return is it doesn't

Thanks guys for your help. Honestly after the screen-gate with GL 752 I do not trust Asus anymore. In case you don't know "screen gate": the GL 752 was advertised in several vendors' and ASUS's own web sites, and several reviews, as having an IPS screen. Well an Amazon user runs diagnostic and found that the panel is actually TN. Asus Support was of absolutely no use and had no clue. Only when the main engineering team was directly questioned that the truth came out: it was a TN panel advertised falsely as IPS.

I have done the Bios F9 reset and G sync still doesn't show. So I suspect that the link I used above is correct: not available for JL. I am using this for photography and not gaming so it really doesn't bother me that much. The IPS screen is beautiful and laptop is perfect so I am afraid of messing with exchanging.

Thanks. This makes me feel better :). Mine was bought from Newegg in November 2015 btw. A Windows 10 model.

Yeah I believe G Sync is available only on the higher end models like JT.

I was so worried because there seem to be a lot of problems posted on this forum, but so far knock on wood I absolutely love mine. The IPS screen is amazing. Everything works and only problem is the bass distortion, but only if I set bass too high and I found a solution for that already.
