I will keep it short since I'm on my phone. My computer blue screened and needed a media to be factory reset. My buddy was going to download the media but insisted to use his computers recovery. He used it and he tells me if I had MSI already. Turns out one of his MSI computers he took the recovery from replaced my whole computer with his computers factory setting. He and myself don't know how to fix it. My computer displays MSI apps and programs but cant run since it's ON AN ASUS MOTHERBOARD!!! Please tell me anyone how i can recover my computer to factory or if it's fixable. I have an ASUS ROG G750JS-RS71 and ran normal since May of 2014. I really want to know if I can download something since i dont have any money or the will to get a new Gaming Laptop. Thank You!

See if you can access the recovery partition. After pressing F9 during POST and when at the Options menu, select Troubleshoot--> Reset your PC--> Only the drive where Windows is installed--> Just remove my files.

How to refresh or reset system on Windows 8 pre-installed Notebook PC ?
