Hi all,
I need help to find a backback for my laptop. At the beggining my choise was the ROG Shuttle, but I've read the size and it seems that the G751 doesn't suit. Has anyone tried the Shuttle backpack with the G751 ? Thanks for any reply.

Cheers,
Stefano.

Alienware Vindicator Backpack 18"

I got that one and i freakin love it.
Remember.. so that laptop fits properly, you should pick the 18" version, not the 17".

(and just Imagine that you could easily fit inside 2 more laptops ..or lots of stuff cause space is crazy)

I had the shuttle and it did NOT FIT into it!

I also tried a few other brands that normally would be able to fit any 17'3 laptop - However, duo to the extra vents on the G751 .. IT DOES NOT FIT.

So instead I had to buy ASUS's Nomad Backpack - It's a bit expensive, but it fits the G751 🙂 The quality of the backpack is extremely good as well.

I don't really use it that often, but the few times I had to bring my laptop with me in the Nomad backpack; I did not experience any issues or backpain caused by the backpack.

Overall I would recommend it to anyone else who bought the G751.
The King of the north!

I second the Asus Nomad. Looks weird a bit but is a very well built bag. High quality zippers, really tough material, hard bottom. Well padded laptop pocket, just a really well built bag that will last for a long time. I got mine for $70 on NCIX. It's a Canadian website but they also have a US site and location as well.

Beware when you try to find a bag for this laptop. It is an absolute beast. Any normal 17" laptop bag will not do it; the extra couple of centimeters of width and the thicker rear end of the laptop effectively prevents it from fitting. The only thing I got it into was a messenger bag from Crumpler which a friend borrowed me. And even then, the separate sleeve for the laptop only fit around the butt end with some wishful thinking. It's like trying to fit an aircraft carrier into a handbag..

NCIX US/CA has a great price on the Nomad right now, lower than I paid originally, $120.98, which is lower than Amazon's price of $143.49 - not the highest I have seen either.

Targus Atmosphere 17-18" xl laptop backpack - it's also quite economic, but of course not so splendid like Rog Nomad.

P.S. Don't by Rog Shuttle as G751J does not fit!

Got Alienware 18" for my G751JY. Not as big as expected - that is good. Looks good, expected something more for 100$, but this will do it. Bought it from new egg. Fits laptop really well, pics are below:

My G751-JY fits perfectly the former Backpack Republic Of Gamer provided previously with the G73 and G75 bundle.

I saw some vendors offering the G751 bundle including that very same backpack and ROG mouse. The price is a bit higher though. I was fortunate to sell my G75 w/o the bag and mouse and keept it for my new G751-JY. I'm happy with it.
