HELP: Do any models have 2 RAM slots?

Hi all,

I was looking at potential buying an ASUS ROG G501JW.

I want to buy and stock laptop and then add a M.2 SSD and potentially add some more RAM.

I noticed that some sites in New Zealand have a max 12gb RAM model and others have a max 16gb RAM model. All laptops start with 8gb already.

I enquired about the 16gb model and was told that there was only 1 RAM slot, which I thought was the case and would require 16gb for the 1 slot.

Somewhere else I enquired, the 16gb model would require 2 x 8gb of memory so do some models have 2 slots? They all seem to be same model number.

If anyone could shed some light on this, that would be great.

Sorry for the delay.

You may still want to confirm on your end, but sounds like the G501JW will only have 1 RAM slot plus either 4Gb or 8Gb memory soldered on the motherboard which of course is non-removable.
