Help! BSOD

Odd. I just got this laptop. And everytime I push the turbo button for the Intel Turbo Boost, I get the BSOD and have to reformat my entire hard drive. Is there a way to disable it in BIOS? I dont really need it..And now if anyone presses the button, it crashes the computer and I have to reinstall windows.

Hey man...if you have G73JH Model, to disable ASUS Turbo Boost, during startup you can do it by pressing ESC key to go to the BIOS setting, and there you will see the ASUS Turbo setting at first page. anyway The Turbo Button is not for IntelTurbo Boost. it is for the ASUS turbo Boost that will overclock your G73JH. even if you disable the ASUS Turbo Boost through Bios, The IntelTurbo Boost will not be disable, cause there is no way to disable it. the only way to disable the Intel Turbo Boost is to unstall IntelTurbo boost driver. if ASUS Turbo Boost doesn't work, you can install Power4Gear Hybrid from ASUS support site or disable it. I also don't use the ASUS turbo boost, because it slows my G73JH sometimes.
