Headphones not working on G73SW

Hi,

So for my new G73SW-XA1, I did a clean install and installed the latest Realtek 2.67 audio driver.

My speakers are working fine, but when I plug headphones into the audio jack no sound comes out.

I know the headphones work and when I plug the headphones in, the Realtek Audio Manager says that it detects something has been plugged into the Audio Jack. However, when I go to "Manage audio devices" no headphones come up. I only see my speakers.

Any ideas on why it doesn't work?

try and manually switch the source audio right click on the sound icon and select "Playback Devices" and then choose the source ( that all depends on the headset 3.5 mm jack or usb.) and if that doesn't work then you can always roll back the audio drivers.
