whether it's worth it or not, that depends on your needs. in terms of performance, sshd is between ssd and hdd. if you need space, sshd might be your choice.

hm sorry for making it too brief. please refer here for more clues. unless your stock drive is exactly the same size of new sshd, you will have problems to clone the whole stock drive (which is 1tb) into the new sshd (afaik it's 750gb). the 1tb ssd is simply too expensive for now, imo it's not worth it to get one.
@XPerties, yeah you're correct; it's that easy to do a clean install 🙂 i never used the f9 recovery because it's long gone. the thing is that there are still many people that are not that savvy enough to handle things like a clean install. please help them out if you can 🙂
