Why does no one say anything about the Toslink-SPDIF headphone connection? The headphone jack is also a SPDIF digital audio port(Fiber optic). Need one of THESE bad boys to get a true digital audio experience without using the HDMI port(not mini-HDMI as stated in the review). Wasn't till I found this that I was 100% satisfied with the G74SX-A2, now I don't have to use USB for my 5.1 Surround Pre-amp.

I think it needs better documentation. It's a nice feature but nobody says anything because ASUS doesn't advertise it.
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…

They definitely should because as a high-end laptop and for the price I want the latest tech. Good to know that they delivered.
