For the test I am using Unigine Heaven 2.5. Older version but soon I am going to upgrade to 3.0 which is the latest build I believe.

Here are my results with stock Nvidia settings and stock GTX 670MX

OCed GTX 670 @ 735 core and 1500 MHz memory

so what do you want to know?

I know all there is to know 😄

Just having some fun with benches and if people want to share their scores it will be just another base for comparing the GPU scores' and actually the different models of GXX by ASUS in a way.

At work youtube is prohibited and I can access the video. 😄

I will watch it as soon as I get home. Thanks.

Update: does not work with the laptop. Unofficial mode is unlocked but the limits are the same. Must be bios or P states limit. I wish that Nvidia Inspector worked. We will have to wait for an updated version.

I use EVGA Precision but also MSI afterburner will work fine.

What amazed me is the clock that is possible on the memory. I never expected for it to work without artifacts and without throttling the graphic card back to lower frequencies. This Kepler card seems to be different from the ones that I played with.

Way to go ASUS. Great job. This laptop is far away from the competition.

Very interesting. Looks like you might be VRAM-speed-constrained on the 670MX with Heaven. That said, in games I doubt you'll be able to overclock the memory that far... unless you're really lucky... 🙂

Here's mine on my G55 the "younger brother"... The 660M. Kepler is very, very impressive. Sure, "only" a 660M, but still, I'm quite pleased, I only wanted a 15" and the price was suitable. And running Hawken so far on +200mhz core +200mhz mem... on a ~laptop~... impressive.

Here's mine. 660M Stock:
16131

And now +215mhz core + 200mhz mem:
16132

Thank you for the post. Very helpful. Good results. I like the fact that you can go that high on the core and I think that your memory can go up to +400 so you can try.

I will try the +1000 memory in games and post some results once I get the chance.

As I understand unigine heaven is a test which completely focuses on the GPU so that the power can be measured more accurately just in that domain. It is not very much CPU dependent and does not overload it. My point is that it shows the true potential of the graphic card and if some frequencies are not stable they will show in unigine first rather than in games. But we will see.

Still 30% overclock on a laptop with normal temperatures is amazing. I wish we were able to play with the voltage and that nVidia / ASUS unlocked the thermal power for +10 or more percent on the card but even this is just amazing.
