GPU Temperatures

Hi,

I have a ASUS G55VW-ES71, which I received about six days ago.

When I play Diablo or Tera - both set slightly lower than default settings, the GPU temperature rapidly rises to 65 C and the fans get quite loud.

Idle GPU temp is about 40 C with the fan still running at low RPM

Is this to be expected?

What temperatures are other people getting?

Sounds very normal ... no worries ... you should be able to feel a bunch of warm air being pushed out the back of the unit.

If I run furmark for a while I can push the GPU temp up into low 70's ( G75VW ) ... again very normal ...

Cooling system is first rate on the G75s/G55s ...
