Is this a error, or does the fan really go to 25,000 RPM LMAO!? IF IT DOES holy cow!!!!! it sounds like a jet at max.. i love it

ALSO is it safe for fan to run it at max whenever i play? ALSO what is max temperature the 880m can run to? It gets to 82c in games like crysis.. also one more thing.. how can i manually control fan? If i want it to run faster but not max speed?

THANKS!

Gotta love programming bugs like that; Definitely report it back to Asus 🙂

If you can, make a video with the mic close to the sound, does it sound like this?

deactivate full speed GPU fan and it will be ok, and 25k rpm is a graphical bug, it cant reach that speed anyway..
Laptop : ASUS G750JW : i7 4700HQ - 16Gb - 2Tb HDD - GTX 765M OC (+135/500) - Full HD Matte - Win 8.1
Retiered : Toshiba L670 i5 560M/8Gb Corsair/1TB/HD5650 1Gb @ 625/800 /WD 1Tb USB3/Win7

Does the fan "noise" change when you enable full speed? AFAIK there are no 25k fans that will fit in the laptop, so it is just a software bug. 🙂

For now, since these are the first shipping laptops with these new features, I would be patient and wait for updates.

Here is a posting where I listed the support sites for both versions of the Asus Tweak Tool, and there are new versions available for both.

Try uninstalling the current version and installing the new version, and see if that helps 🙂

There is noise and the cooler works very well but i don't think that the noise match a fan rotating at 25000 RPM

When you upgrade to the latest version of Asus GPU Tweak Tool for Laptops, report back if the display value problem is fixed, and if not file a bug with Asus here as a Technical Inquiry to send to software engineering.
