nice score. What kind of temps do you max on the gpu/cpu with that run?

Is increasing CPU Multiplier Safe? Any issues you encountered?

About 82 on both CPU and GPU but that was after running SkyDiver and this benchmark once, before overclocking.
Ambient temp is about 28-34 Celsius degrees and it's stuffy here.

Not bad my 4870 gets so damn hot if i dont sit it on a pad for firestrike. ill be in the mid 90s. I really wish Asus had gone the way of msi and adopted the 5700 series for its g sync refresh.

(****PLEASE DO TAKE NOTE BEFORE READING***)
I am new to the forum (yeah I breezed through the rules), asking mods to spare me for bumping in an old thread, I need some help (maybe guidance if I'm looking in the wrong place). I just bought a pretty much new G751JT-DH72 from a navy guy on craigslist (sweet deal haggled with him down to 950). Pretty new to pc gaming but even newer to notebook gaming, heard the new 751's were sweet and I couldn't pass up the deal. He bought it from best buy (never got the receipt there is a possibility I could retrieve it).
(**** TO THOSE WHO ARE LURKING*****)
Thank you for reading if you are with me this far and willing to help. Now to get to the point, I haven't the foggiest idea were to start as far as updates, tools, and maintenance is concerned before I start really getting into gaming. I've logged probably 24 hours on the witcher 3 but I feel like shes running a little hot. Ive run HW Monitor while playing the last 4 hours on low and the THRM temp got to 77 C....Can someone give me a little direction?

You could literally have just typed g751 temp and found 100's of results yes thats a normal temp. If i just bought a g751 from someone else the first thing i would do is clean install windows 10 assuming you already did the upgrade to have a fresh slate and install the newest drivers. The important temps are cpu and gpu. Depending opn your chip the cpu can get as high as 97 and the gpu as high as 89 and you would still be within normal. If the laptop has a few years on it you might want to open it and clean the fans and even repaste everything if your comfortable with it especially if he was deployed in a dusty area like the middle east.
