G751JT - Fire Strike. I've had three runs. First was mid 6600s. Second was a day later at 6500 level. After fresh reboot I got the attached score 6704. Ambient temp is about 27 degrees C

Medicius, G750's don't seem to need help from Cooling Pads, although simply raising up the chassis off the desktop seems to help all by itself.

G751's don't have the same sealed cooling design, it might help with them, please run some tests and let us know how this cooling pad works.

Please try some benchmark runs, like prime95 small fft + furmark 15 minute burnin, and monitor with hwinfo64 Sensors Only Mode, without the cooling pad, and with the cooling pad with and without fan on. That will tell you how much the cooling pad is helping.

Please post results here 🙂

@hmscott, I owned cooling pad before and I (re)use it for three reason only:
1. it raises laptop keyboard and display in a comfy position (personal experience),
2. I can hide cables underneath it,
3. and it does no harm. 😉
If there will be some extra time, I will test it. Otherwise, I completely trust my laptop (ASUS) that it would do a good cooling job just by it self. 🙂
May I add, I own G751JY for a week now and I haven`t found any trouble yet, non hardware and non software.
It works fantastic!

Medicius, all good 🙂

I remember when cooling pads actually helped, was expecting the G750 to benefit from one, but nope. That is why I am interested in how the G751 is affected by a good cooling pad, and your's looks great 🙂

Glad you are enjoying your new G751, it's nice when someone that has a good one first time out of the box posts here, we usually only get the people with problems posting 🙂

Thanks, welcome to the ROG Forums!
