Go back to windows 8.1 with ssd? Asus g75vw

Hi guys, i have recently installed windows 10 pro, on my asus g75vw, with an ssd.

The boot time is 12seconds

!!! This message is for people running windows 8.1 on my same laptop , with an ssd !!!

What do you think about the speed? If I go back to windows 8.1 , system will be faster?

Windows 10 is optimized to be faster than the previous versions before it. If you are looking for a faster boot time or slightly faster app response time your best bet is Win 10. I had Win 8.1 on my G75 and currently have Win 10 on it and the difference is noticeable. I have noticed that nearly everyone that has a G75 with Win 10 boot in approximately 12seconds. Mine boots in 11 sec.

Would this be recover from Hybrid sleep or actual time from cold start? Mine takes about 20 seconds on 8.1 Pro from Samsung Pro 850 that is from a full shut down to having control of the my cursor and desktop.

That is a cold boot

I just asked as most people don't realize they are only using hybrid shutdown when they shut down. This is the default for windows 8 and 10. and what your are using unless you have turned hybrid shut down off. It won't matter until you have an issue and get locked up because you can't get a full reboot, the boot is quicker but also has issues. I use Classic Shell so I don't have to deal with the issue and recommend to anyone else using 8 or 10.
