GeForce Driver 337.78

Updated this morning to 337.78. I was two/three updates behind.

The local geforce program had trouble downloading the driver directly from Nvidia but I was able to download directly off the site without issue.

Made a system restore point, did a clean install, zero problems thus far. I'll post if I encounter any. Nvidia is claiming ~10% or more improvement for a wide variety of games. Looking forward to seeing if those claims pan out :cool:

My version is very old 1.0.2... I never bothered to update, but it never failed me - I used it to test several AMD/NVidia configurations and numerous driver versions throughout the years.
Anyway, it was my fault - I forgot to plug in the power cord... 😮 When I did, the thing rectified itself.
My GPU result went from around 18400 (Asus' 332.33 driver) to almost 18900 (337.88).

What's up with your score? Is that your regular result with default settings and no overclocking there? GPU score seems to be higher than one would expect from 780m (Notebookcheck says it maxes out at around 28000, albeit with some old drivers), but this CPU score is very low compared to mine (62000), maybe it overheats and throttles? My Vantage temps are max. 79 °C (CPU cores 2 & 3) and 64 °C for the GPU, but this laptop is fairly new (though, just a week or two ago temps were a few degrees lower and at the same time the ambient temperature was higher).

That is a typical score for this JH, with XTU setting the CPU multipliers to max, and Asus GPU Tweak Tool setting the 780m to 932mhz GPU clock and 6250mhz memory clock.
