So i had my G15 GA503RW keyboard brink a few months back. U can see my posts..Tried everything and everyone at asus customer support told me that keyboard is faulty. Since my warrenty was expired so i ordered keyboard replacement from Ali express. Which seller showed me working in another same model.
Got the keyboard replacement. And
behold.
Same ******. No lights no keyboard nothing.
Same old problem,.
Thanks Asus for bricking my keyboard chipset with faulty firmware and absolute ******show that is armory crate and MyAsus app.
this is 100% software issue people. Do not do what i did..dont spend money on getting a replacement keyboard.
I did everything they said. ControlInterface, regedit things. firmware updates and AC and MYASUS stuff. did asuskeyboardUpdatetool and mannual updates..same thing..
they dont even provide a rollback to updates. no older firmwares that worked. and doesnt do anything. just always tell u to uninstall AC and hard reset. CHIPSET is bricked with wrong firmware. GIVE ME OLDER ONE THAT WORKS.
im out of another 60$ and a premium laptop with a bricked keyboard.
