G75VX Doesn't seem to have a BIOS but still boots? Wut?

I am having a really weird issue right now, I've never experienced anything like this before, I'm running Windows 10 on my G75VX, I just did the install last week and it's all acting very weird, I'm not sure what to do.

The laptop originally came with a 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, I removed both drives and replaced with two 512gb Samsung Evo 850 SSD's in Raid 0, had everything set up and working just fine, I recently just bought a 1tb ssd to replaced the two 512's in raid 0, removed the two raid drives after unraid so the bios and everything was all back to normal, I restored bios settings to factory defaults and then disabled secure boot so I could boot my windows installer off USB, did a fresh UEFI install of windows 10, again, third time now on this laptop and everything is fine, but just recently, I noticed this install doesn't have a boot logo on start up, I also noticed it would randomly freeze up while transferring raw 4k video as that's primarily what I use this laptop for.
My thinking was maybe this was something kind of like how on an unlocked Nexus Phone or Tablet it will display an unlock icon on boot, maybe Asus did the same, no boot logo for no secure boot enabled device or something so I figured I would turn it back on, only that I can't get into the BIOS which I thought was very weird, so I googled it quickly, found out the UEFI way of booting to BIOS, tried that (settings, update & security, recovery, advanced start up, troubleshoot..) but that's where it ended for me, when it's suppose to reboot into that blue uefi screen with options, it took like 10 minutes for the screen to show up, move the mouse over to troubleshoot, clicked once (not double click) and the display goes black and about 10 minutes later, a cursor appears, but nothing else happened after that.

Now this is where I'm thinking, okay, screw this drive, it must be faulty, I'll just pull the drive and go into BIOS without a drive installed, except when I boot the laptop with no drive at all, nothing happens, the keyboard lights up, goes out, screen stays off the entire time, no back light even, I put the SSD back in, booted right up to the login screen in only a few seconds, everything is working for daily use but I can't work from this laptop because of it's issue freezing with raw 4k file transfer, I have no idea what's wrong with this but it doesn't seem to have a BIOS anymore, however everything is still working fine other then the file transfer thing, like, I can't wrap my head around this, I've never experienced anything like this before.

Does anyone have any suggestions at all, sending to Asus for repair is not a suggestion, I live in Canada and Canada Post is on strike so shipping with UPS or FedEx both require making an account and it cost about twice as much for shipping, plus the repair cost, I'll just buy another laptop before I send it back to them for repair.

I'm thinking I would download the BIOS flashing utility off of the Asus site, latest 206, flash that, but I figured I would ask if anyone knows if this will be a bad thing to do in the state it's in seeing as right now it "works" but if the actual bios chip is faulty, maybe flashing a new bios to it, might corrupt what's already there and working, so I don't know what to do at this point.

Any help is really appreciated, I need this for work so it's kind of a big deal I get this working fully as soon as I can.

Take a read at my post here first: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?85951-ASUS-G75VX-screen-acting-up

Your issue is similar, obviously not identical but it seems to be the same way Windows was setup.

Also, if UEFI (fast boot) is enabled, the startup logo is a smaller ROG logo (regardless if secure boot is enabled or disabled). If CSM is used the startup logo is Windows instead. So to have none tells me something is corrupt. Also, restoring BIOS to defaults is most likely the root of this evil, especially with the G75 models, it was a trail of RMAs for a lot of people.

I'd recommend doing the Easy Flash BIOS Recovery method with the latest BIOS if you'd like, just know if things go south during flashing, you'll have to resort to RMA or proceed correcting it yourself with a hardware programmer. Just a heads up.

Okay, thanks for the suggestion on Easy Flash BIOS, I didn't know that was a thing. Started looking into it, seems a lot easier than taking it apart to reflash the chip manually, I have all the hardware anyway so if worst comes to worst, I just wasn't sure if a failing BIOS chips was a regular issue with these laptops, didn't want to try and flash a bad chip if that's the issue only to have it not boot at all.

Flashed the .206 BIOS again, everything is working "fine" again, no file issues anymore, everything works for booting into BIOS and what not, however I'm now having the identical issues from the link you posted, nothing is showing up unless I plug in an external display and unplug it, but once I do that, everything works fine, and this is a fresh install I just did after getting the BIOS all working again so I can't imagine it's an install issue, any suggestions?
I tried doing a MBP install instead of my normal GPT installs with UEFI, and nothing works at all now, I enabled CSM, made a MBP USB, now I have no display signal from internal display, Thunderbolt display, or HDMi on my TV so I can't even use the MBP USB to do a legacy install.. not really sure where to go from here, I've been at this for 6 hours so I'm going to try and sleep on it

I will add that I also have this exact same notebook and have setup Windows 8/10 multiple times with MBR and GPT and have had no issues at all. I was however using BIOS version 201 (shipped with notebook) and I've tried every other version available but kept the 201 in the end. A lot of people haven't seen or used this version before and the VBIOS version in the 201 has proper UEFI GOP unlike the updated 203, 204 and 206 ones do. The 201 system BIOS/VBIOS also supports Gen3 bus speeds unlike the later versions that only support Gen2 for some reason.

Now you're saying you have nothing displayed at all , so probably another Easy Flash recovery (CTRL+HOME) to remedy it again. I can give you the 201 BIOS to test out if you want, just know that some systems don't like it for some unexplained reason (soft bricked). If you don't want to take that chance, I could then just replace your 206 VBIOS with the 201 VBIOS and see if that fixes your issue completely after flashing it (working display during POST at the very least).

Yes! I would love to have BIOS 201 back, that's what it shipped with but I had already done Raid0 before I started learning about all of this and the original file was long gone, I've been looking for it for awhile now.

Here you go: G75VX_201

EDIT: Your original BIOS should still be stored on the factory partitioned 256GB SSD at "C:\G75VX.BIN" (file hidden) anyway.

Here you go: G75VX_201

Your original BIOS should still be stored on the factory partitioned 256GB SSD at "C:\G75VX.BIN" (file hidden) if it's still intact.

I flashed the 201 BIOS, the laptop abruptly turned off while flashing and now it won't turn on, no power LED's or anything, no battery charging LED either (with battery installed).
Suggestions? Lol

That's why I mentioned the risks about doing it and that your only options were to RMA or use a hardware programmer if it fails. You mentioned that you have the required hardware in post #3. So if you do, just a matter of reading the SOIC, rebuilding image in hex and writing it back afterwards.

If you need help reconstructing your BIOS image, I can help you out.
