Hi guys!
I've had my G75VX-RH71-CA laptop for almost 2 years now and I've had little problem with it until now. Just recently I've noticed that the battery indicator LED has been blinking orange. I can't remember if the power adapter had become unplugged or not -- I never usually run my laptop directly off the battery anyway -- but in any case, the battery power was low, so I made sure everything was connected and left it to charge overnight. I woke up the next day to find battery power was sitting only at 11%, no longer charging and the LED still blinking a steady orange.
I removed the battery and tried running the laptop solely from the power adapter and it works fine, so obviously the cord and/or adapter isn't the problem. Would you guys recommend that I purchase a replacement battery, or could the problem be with something else? If I do need a new battery, where could I find one? I live in Canada, so preferably I would like to find something here, but I don't mind purchasing from the US if I have to.
