g75vw webcam not functioning

Hi guys,

I would like to ask your expertise on my current problem on my g75vw, the webcam is not detected. especially using skype, i
need to connect a external usb webcam. Another thing is the function keys are not working, only the fn+f7 is working.

Did you start to experience this problem recently? And have you done a new Windows installation since you bought your laptop?

yup chino, from windows home premium to windows ultimate, because i upgraded my ram to 32. What do you think is the problem, do i need to
install a fresh copy of ultimate?

Did you upgrade from Home Premium to Ultimate? Or did you do a clean install of Ultimate?

i upgrade to ultimate.

You need to install the drivers for the camera I think its called Virtual Camera something like that on the Asus Download site for your model.

clintlgm i already download the latest virtual camera software. but still it cannot detect the built in camera.

And it was working before you Clean Installed your upgraded OS?

uninstall device then press search derice and install driver. becasue asus use winown bundle driver
