ok guys i have a couple of issues with my new g75vw-rs72 first after a week my battery died on me not charging and when i unplug the power supply it shuts off the laptop ever with my battery in. the other problem in random times the screen blacks out and says Nvidia windows kernel mode driver has stop and restarted. the other times it blacks out my clock speed is at 678MHz (it was over clocked by XoticPC) drops to like 74MHz. like the videocard has failed ? or something. If a technician from Asus can get with me and help me out i will be grateful. thanks xXEMO_POTATOXx

I recommend you contact Xotic PC and exchange or return the defective laptop.
You are returning the laptop because it is defective. So if Xotic PC is a reputable dealer, they should resolve this issue for you quickly, with no additional expense on your part.

I have no idea what's the problem with the battery, but the second one is related. There are times when the laptop needs more power than the power brick can offer and it uses the battery for that extra. Since yours does not work, the GPU will underclock itself and you get that black screen for a moment. It's normal. GPU should be OK.

Xotic are using a modded vBIOS? How did they OC the card?
