Hello rog, I'm a newbie to this site and to doing computer work... I just purchased a g75vw-bbk5 from best buy... I purchased as an open box item ( for a great deal ), but in case I purchased there warranty also..... Here's where it gets interesting. I get home and get settled in and decides to try out my laptop. Well soon as I turn it out nothing comes up. There's no software on my laptop. So I'm really mad, but too tired from 14hr day at work to deal with it... So I take it back to best buy geek squad and and tell them my problem... Well after arguing for about ten minutes the manager finally talk to me and we conclude that they would give me the money to order a recovery disc from asus. So I ordered and took it best buy. I also took in a brand new intel 520 120gb ssd. So I drop it off and come back the next day thinking they had time to get ssd in and software installed. Well geek squad is having problems with putting windows seven on the ssd. They had tried taking out original hdd and just having ssd in. Says it keeps erroring out. Even had an optical drive error... Any advice would be greatly appreciated so I can get my laptop up and running.... Thanks in advance
