Hi everyone!

My doubt is how to adjust the Lightboost brightness like on the Asus VG278H on the G75VW-DS73-3D with Lightboost enabled monitor. And how I know if it's active or not.

Thanks!

Hey,

Have you tried running an active mini diplay port to dual link dvi-d adapter? I have the same setup as you other than my g75 not being 3d. Using a hdmi cable my monitor says 3dtv play and im limited with my refresh rate, using a single link mini diplay apadpter it shows 3dvision - which is what advertises lightboost.
I have ordered the dual link cable so i can let you know if this works if u want?

The lightboost isn't as pronounced on the G75VW-3D compared to the VG278H. If you keep your glasses off and toggle 3D you'll see the screen light up a bit.

I own both the VG278H and the G75VW 3D 🙂

Thanks for the reply.... This was like the answer I was looking for, but indeed it "lights up" for just one second and then return to "normal", that is a little darker or THE SAME before applying 3D...

I tried what you told me using the demo at Nvidia Control Panel.

Thanks!

And @BrendJack, thanks for helping but I just was looking for this kind of answer, or how to adjust the LightBoost level 🙂
